
The education sector as been thrown into mourning since the news of the demised of a renowned Nigerian educator,visionary leader,and a pillar in the education sector,Mrs Olayinka Adejoke hit the Internet on Monday,6th April 2026.Mrs Ogunde who passed from death to life on Easter Sunday 5th April,2026 at the Harley Street Clinic London surrounded by her family.
Tribute as been here and there from various education groups,platforms,states,countries and individuals.
Mrs Yinka is an education consultant, entrepreneur, and PR expert—renowned for championing educational reform and fostering collaboration among key stakeholders in Nigeria’s education sector.
She was the CEO of Edumark Consult,an education and marketing consultancy firm, as well as the founder of the Concerned Parents and Educators (CPE) Initiative, a broad platform uniting parents, teachers, and school owners. She also convened TOSSE (Total School Support Seminar/Exhibition), one of Africa’s largest and most impactful annual education events.
She didn’t just lead,she shaped futures,open doors of opportunities,she was a blessing to Nigeria and to the education sector at large,selfless,friendly,jovial,always interested in public impact through education,and always willing to get involved.
She made the education sector a better place with her public impact,she made her mark while she lived,she is a passionate advocate against injustice,an educationist par excellence who lend her voice to the educational sector of the country,she fought for right policies to implemented.
One of her Education online group,Concerned Parents Educator (CPE) is one of the most successful groups on the internet,she is one of the Top 50 most influential women in the marketing and communication industry in Nigeria,and the 1st education marketing firm in Nigeria.
Her Tosse event (Total School Support Seminar & Exhibition) is the largest African Education tradeshow and conference,Tosse welcome and receives thousands of visitors and over 200 exhibitors from networking & intensive learning,She has made the teaching profession attractive for the education sector.
She has a group where she visit and support low cost schools,schools in poor arears,who cannot afford school fees or food,some schools in Amukoko area and the likes where they cannot pay 6,000 school fees,where most pupils come to school without food,books,shoes,bags or money,she has representatives in the 36 states of Nigeria who helped her to reach out to school matters and needs,she helped Parents,teachers and school owners,her foundation as also built a suitable and dream home for a teacher in the Northen part of Nigeria,she has supported over 5,000 students and trained nearly 10,000 teachers through her initiatives,including paying their rents.
She has made significant contributions to Nigeria’s education sector,Ogunde was known for her work in education marketing and advocacy, and had helped over10,000 educational institutions improve their productivity and learning outcomes.
She was a certified coach,trainer,and speaker with the John Maxwell Team.
Many didn’t know that she and her husband are ministers in RCCG,her husband is Mr Oluwemimo Ogunde,he is the son of foremost Nigerian actor & playwright,Hubert Ogunde, a former attorney General & Commissioner for Justice in Ogun State,he is a SAN,Principal Counsel at Latter House Chambers.
Oluyinka was a movement,a guiding light whose passion for learning and human development knew no bounds,she dedicated her life bridging the gap between parents and the society at large.
Her voice echoed for justice, quality education, and the moral upbringing of children-values she lived by until her last breadth.
She was a true humanist par excellence. She believed deeply in the dignity of every child and the power of education as a tool for transformation. Her compassion,wisdom,and unwavering commitment touched countless lives,she was a mother to many,a mentor to countless others,and a pillar of hope in times of uncertainty.
Mrs Ogunde is an indigene of Ibadan,She graduated from the University of Lagos with a Bachelors degree in English and a masters degree in Mass Communication,she is blessed with children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Olayinka Ogunde was a visionary leader with the heart of a servant, an exceptional mentor, a coach and a deeply compassionate soul.
Her impact was far-reaching, profound and truly transformational.
She lived beyond self, lifting others and shaping futures.
She was a resonant voice in education, pioneering bold innovations and giving tirelessly to society.
Her life was one of purpose, service and intentional love, grooming lives and empowering multitudes.
She gave many of us like me the platform to find our voices, express ourselves and showcase our talents to the world. She opened doors of opportunity and created meaningful pathways for growth.
Through her scholarship initiatives, she empowered over 1,000 students and her unwavering commitment to teachers’ welfare extended even to their families.
She loved and believed in Nigeria wholeheartedly, with the firm conviction that things can indeed work.
Her dedication to the growth and transformation of the education sector in Nigeria was unwavering. Through TOSSE, she built a formidable platform that grew into an international and biggest educational conference in Africa changing narratives and transforming minds across the school community.
She was also a voice for the elderly in our communities.
Giving out monthly allowance to some of them.
She served beyond limits, loved with a pure heart and left an indelible mark on schools, educators and countless lives.
Indeed, her good works are endless and her legacy will continue to endure.
Though her passing leaves a deep void, we give glory to God for a life so beautifully and purposefully lived.
She is truly Heaven’s gain.
Gone from sight but forever in our hearts.
