Dr. Luke Okojie, one of Africa’s most prolific and impactful biographers. Dr Luke Okojie is who an appointed as United Nations Mayor for World Peace is a media magnate and seasoned communications expert. Dr. Okojie has made significant contributions to public relations, advertising, and print journalism. He is the Managing Director and CEO of Accolade Communications Limited, a platform through which he has enriched the media industry and contributed to Nigeria’s development. With a solid background in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), his foray into public relations and communications stems from his vision of creating a conglomerate focused on wealth creation, employment generation, and economic growth.
Dr. Okojie is skilled in event planning, customer service, strategic planning, marketing, and public speaking. A 1990 graduate of the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka, he has since pursued further postgraduate studies. Since 2017, he has served as the Nigerian representative of the European-American University, where he is also a Pro-Chancellor and a member of the University’s Court and Council. His other notable positions include being an Executive Council Member of the Strategic Finance and Administrative Institute, a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants, and a Certified Management Consultant. He also serves as the National Programme Coordinator for the United Nations Peace and Positive Living Awareness Centre (UN-PEPOLAC) and is a trustee of the Guild of Professional Biographers, Africa. He is a Cofounder and a trustee of International Centre for Comparative Leadership for Africans and Blacks in Diaspora. He is an expert of Personal Brand Management (PBM). Dr Luke okojie is the Chairman of Laurel Garments, a premium fashion House. He is also the founder and owner of Accolade Colours Properties, an Estate Development and Management company.
In recognition of his work, Dr. Okojie received the Most Outstanding Biographer of the Year award in 2020. His growing interest in internet and digital marketing is a testament to his adaptability and forward-thinking mindset. Notably, former Nigerian Minister of Women Affairs, Dame Pauline Tallen, OFR, acknowledged him as a HeForShe champion for his advocacy for gender equality.
Dr. Okojie is known for his can-do attitude, always finding opportunities in unlikely places. He is a leader par excellence, compassionate philanthropist, reformist, community leader, astute administrator, devout Christian, and dedicated family man. His charismatic personality allows him to connect across social and economic divides, earning him the respect of both the elite and the everyday person, without losing his core values and humble orientation.
As the convener and current Executive Secretary of Accolade Ambassadors, Dr. Okojie has played a significant role in fostering collaboration and unity. He has also served as the Editor-in-Chief of several distinguished works, including Nigeria@50: Leaders Par Excellence; Nigerian Role Models, Volumes 1, 2 &3; Audacious; Nigeria@60: 60 Leaders Par Excellence; 100 Distinguished Nigerian Engineers; and 100 Audacious Nigerian Women, Nigeria @65:Leaders of Distinction; and Voices Abroad: Impact of Distinguished Nigerians in Diaspora among others. He is happily married to Mrs. Angela Okojie, a Civil Engineer and blessed with two Children: Ebosetate Favour Okojie, a chartered accountant and Eromosele Okojie, a teenager. Dr Luke okojie is presently working of some biographies that will be presented to the public in no distant future.
